Left Atrial Dimension to Left Ventricle Ejection Fraction Ratio Can Predict Long-Term Major Adverse Events In Patients With Acute Coronary Syndrome

چکیده

Background: It is critical to specify the high-risk group in acute coronary syndrome following percutaneous intervention. Left atrial diameter and ventricle ejection fraction are functional echocardiographic parameters for risk classification thanks easy obtainable, cheap, non-invasive nature. However, major adverse cardiovascular events may be predicted less than actual where or left normal range. We aimed assess ratio prediction syndrome.Materials Methods: Individuals with were included study. Atrial obtained at admission. The ventricular was calculated through dividing by fraction, relationship between new-onset heart failure all-cause mortality this investigated two years period. Results: mean age of total 262 patients 62.1±11.5 years. Thirty-nine (18.9 %) female occurred 73 (28%) patients. In backward multivariable Cox regression analysis, [Hazard (HR)=1.039, 95%CI:1.017-1.060, p<0.001], Killip class [HR=2.099, 95%CI:1.011-4.365, p=0.045], serum creatinine level [HR=2.202, 95%CI:1.247-3.811, p=0.003], [HR=1.029, 95%CI:1.019-1.038, p<0.001] revealed independent predictors events. Conclusion: syndrome. This novel practical index provide better all patient groups.Key Words: Acute (ACS), (LAd), (LVEF), (LAd) (LVEF) (LAd/LVEF)

Acute and Long Term Outcomes of Coronary Intervention in Unprotected Left Main Lesions

Introduction : Significant left main coronary artery stenosis jeopardizes the entire myocardium of the left ventricle and has the worst prognosis of any form of coronary artery disease. Coronary-artery bypass grafting (CABG) has been considered as the standard therapeutic approach for such patients. There are limited data on the safety and effectiveness of percutaneous coronary intervention (PC...

Ejection fraction response of the left ventricle of the heart to acute cerebrovascular accident in patients with coronary artery disease.

The ejection fraction (EF) of the left ventricle was measured by radionuclide ventriculography in 64 patients during an acute cerebrovascular accident. Sixteen patients (12 with coronary artery disease) died within two weeks of the onset of symptoms and had only one EF measurement. In the remaining 48 patients, the EF was also measured two weeks and three months after the acute event. The eject...

Ejection Fraction Response of the Left Ventricle of the Heart to Acute Cerebrovascuiar Accident in Patients With Coronary Artery Disease

The ejection fraction (EF) of the left ventricle was measured by radionudide ventriculography In 64 patients during an acute cerebrovascuiar accident. Sixteen patients (12 with coronary artery disease) died within two weeks of the onset of symptoms and had only one EF measurement. In the remaining 48 patients, the EF was also measured two weeks and three months after the acute event. The ejecti...

Evaluation of echocardiographic indices for the prediction of major adverse events during long-term follow-up in chronic hemodialysis patients with normal left ventricular ejection fraction.

BACKGROUND Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of mortality in endstage renal failure. Prognostic role of echocardiography has not been fully elucidated in chronic hemodialysis patients. AIM To assess the ability of Doppler echocardiographic parameters of left ventricular (LV) diastolic function along with conventional echocardiographic indices to predict long-term adverse major event...

Evaluation of ejection fraction in patients with acute myocardial infarction undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention

Introduction: Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) is a reperfusion strategy to increase life expectancy and ejection fraction (EF) in ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients. We investigated the effect of location, severity, type of lesion, number and type of vessel involved and time of angioplasty on the increase in EF in STEMI patients undergoing primary PCI (P-PCI) a...
